College committees

The College welcomes participation from members in its internal advisory committees.

Membership is determined through an Expression of Interest process. Calls are made through Country Watch when positions are vacant.

Meetings are arranged in consultation with members and generally held by teleconference or webinar. Committees typically meet around four to six times per year.

  • Quality and Safety Council
  • Education Council
  • Registrar Committee
  • Future Generalist Committee
  • Education and Training Committee
  • Assessment Committee
  • International Medical Graduate Assessment Committee
  • Research Committee
  • Digital Health Committee
  • Professional Development Committee
  • Rural Generalist Working Groups (emergency medicine, anaesthetics, mental health etc.)
  • College Courses Committees (Advanced Life Support (ALS), Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST) etc.)
